Roof leaks
A leak is a symptom. The source still needs to be found.
Water can travel along framing before it shows up inside, so the stain is not always below the problem. Common causes are failed flashing at walls, valleys & penetrations; missing, lifted or worn roofing; & standing water on low-slope roofs.
If water is coming in now: move belongings away where it is safe, take photos from the ground, do not climb onto a wet roof, & call. We protect the roof first, then plan the permanent repair.

How do I know if a repair is enough?
A repair usually makes sense when the source is localized & the surrounding roof is still serviceable. Widespread wear, repeated leaks or soft decking point toward replacement.
Do you work on pitched & flat roofs?
Yes. Asphalt shingle roofs (new pitched roofs up to an 8:12 slope) & torch-on flat & low-slope roofs.
Can a cedar shake roof be converted to asphalt shingles?
Often, yes. Decking, structure, ventilation, weight, details & any engineering or permit requirements are reviewed first.
Should I wait for the rain to stop before calling?
No. Call during an active leak. Temporary protection may be possible right away; permanent repair depends on weather & safe access.
Does roof repair include interior damage?
Roof repair fixes the exterior source. Interior drywall patching can be handled as a separate handyman job.
